Subway

Since there's no Subway in my town, my little guilty pleasure sometimes costs me a 30-minute drive, but I've never regretted it!

We go to this Subway regularly and everything is great except for one cashier. Glasses, red hair. Every time we encounter her, it's the same thing: unpleasant, never smiles, extremely stingy with ingredients, and we have to ask again and again. Once or twice, you might think it's just a one-off, but it's always the same with her. The other cashiers are lovely; it's such a shame.

The staff are professional and friendly. The food is good and fresh.

If we disregard the hair found in my sandwich and the fact that the sandwich was completely falling apart, the saleswomen were cordial and quick.

Small subway but a very complete buffet, nice terrace

I arrived at the Subway in Verne-sur-Seiche at 9:27 p.m. for a takeout order, thinking the restaurant closed at 10:00 p.m. My partner stayed in the car. As soon as I approached, the server saw me and sighed, making a comment to her colleague, as if my presence were already a huge inconvenience. So much so that her glasses moved in sync with her eyebrows, adding a theatrical touch to her already irritating attitude. When I politely asked if I could still be served, she replied in an exaggeratedly demonstrative tone and a ridiculously high-pitched voice: "Didn't you see the sign? We close at 9:30 p.m." Then, as if to hammer home her sarcasm, she began listing everything she was closing and folding, even though all the ingredients were still on the counter ready to be used, making it perfectly clear that she refused to prepare my order. The most insulting thing: as soon as her back was turned, she started mockingly repeating to her colleague, "Yes, I thought it was still open, I thought it closed at 10 p.m." This kind of behavior is immature, disrespectful, and utterly contemptuous of customers. It's shocking and unacceptable for any business. So I preferred to order through Uber Eats from the Subway in Bruz, which, until now, has never disappointed. The Subway in Verne-sur-Seiche absolutely must review its staff's attitude. This server should rethink how she treats customers, because her sarcasm and contempt drive customers away and seriously tarnish the brand's image.

The restaurant is well-located, with a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The place is bright, clean, and well-maintained, making a meal break all the more enjoyable. The young and friendly staff provides excellent service. The quality of the sandwiches lives up to the brand's reputation: generously filled and served quickly. It's worth noting that the servers demonstrate great patience and remain professional, even when dealing with some unpleasant and rude customers. Working in these conditions isn't always easy: kudos to them.

Absolutely deplorable hygiene. Sandwiches placed on dirty trays, the tables are disgusting, the floor is sticky. The terrace is in a terrible state... The service wasn't bad, the sandwich was cold but not bad either, however, with such a level of uncleanliness, it's impossible to give more than one star.

I was very disappointed with my visit. From the moment I entered the restaurant, the welcome was very cold and without a smile. When ordering, I asked for extra guacamole for my sandwich and a children's menu. I also asked for a triple chocolate cookie, and a waitress with curly hair gave me a chocolate chip one. I started to wonder if she had a hearing problem. I then asked if it was possible to have a small side salad, as I hadn't seen one on the menu, but no, that wasn't possible. I paid and went to sit on the terrace, and to my surprise, there was no guacamole in my sandwich, and no children's menu either, nor any applesauce! So I went back to ask for the guacamole to be added to my sandwich. A very friendly waitress added it, but the other waitress (the same one who served the cookie) claimed I hadn't paid for the extra and that it had never been requested. Unfortunately, no receipt was given, so there was no proof. In doubt, I paid, and she repeated once again that it wasn't her fault since I hadn't asked for it. Perhaps she should buy a hearing aid in that case. This restaurant is to be avoided; I won't be returning. It's unacceptable for such a chain, and my children are very disappointed.

Vegan menu, so more demanding than for regular subs, but the service was top-notch (change of gloves, separate cooking, clean knife and work surface...). Honestly, fantastic, and all with a smile. I recommend it for vegans. Several visits to this Sub and always just as satisfied.

Excellent service, especially considering we ordered a vegan sandwich (they even changed gloves!). The waitress was smiling and polite. This isn't our first visit, and the service is always top-notch.

The Subway is well-run, the waitresses/waitresses are friendly, and I find them very patient with sometimes overly demanding customers. The portions are very generous, even quite generous; you sometimes wonder how they manage to close the sandwiches! Same experience with my two Uber Eats orders: very satisfied.

Having been a regular at this establishment for a while, it's a disaster. I came yesterday, barely a hello, hair down, cap on backwards... a colleague clearly told another colleague to put less filling on the sandwiches in front of all the customers (they were already underfilled according to the chain's rules)... the cooking time wasn't respected, the bread was very dry, and in between, one of the young women didn't hesitate to plug in her electric scooter and put on the same gloves, leaving a trail on the high chair... when I got to the salad bar, I noticed the guacamole wasn't the right color... thanks to my pointing it out to my friend, it was removed, not without a sigh and a look. I don't know what's going on, but next time I won't hesitate to take pictures. Sunday, July 6th, evening.
