Restaurant Scolaire des Gayeulles

The servers are friendly, but the food often leaves much to be desired. They need to revise the menu for the restaurant to be truly good. I've tried all the dishes, and very few are actually good.

I eat there for lunch and dinner, six days a week, so I'm well-placed to write an informed review. If you're used to eating delicious food, the transition is abrupt. However, you get used to it fairly quickly; the portions are quite decent (you can ask for seconds), and it's rare to find a dish that's truly exceptional. Nevertheless, the meals are always edible, and I always finish them. Plus, you can have a bit of fun with some of the servers. I'm deducting one star for that nasty lettuce leaf that's in every appetizer.

A fantastic discovery! The cuisine is unique, ambitious, and truly surprising. The dishes are first and foremost beautifully seasoned with a wonderful balance of flavors. I imagine the chefs love to experiment with flavors and tastes, and the dishes I tasted really took me on a journey I hadn't yet explored! The menus change every two weeks, and you can really taste the freshness of the ingredients, which is a huge plus. An amazing culinary experience and a restaurant truly marked by a love of good food and discovery! Finally, thank you for the excellent service!

Seriously, not even a Doberman would eat what's served in this cafeteria!

It's well-balanced and tasty; you can hardly complain. The portions are just right for the students. It's underrated by the Joliot and Chatô high schools. Bonus points for the friendly staff who do a fantastic job. Thank you to them.

The food is either overcooked or undercooked. Furthermore, if you eat at the second seating, you might not get a starter or dessert (except for yogurt), the main course might not be the same as what's listed on the menu, and nobody at this school wants to end up with a Quinois Surprise instead of a decent hamburger because they're not freaking vegans. All this to say, if you eat at the second seating every day, you're screwed.

Breaded fish is not cooked

I managed to finish my meal despite countless gastric refluxes that constantly drove me to deposit the contents of my stomach on what remained of what they call "food".
