A very, very good place to eat in Rennes, from the appetizer to the dessert everything is perfect!

Exquisite cuisine, charming waiter in a very pleasant setting.

This was our second visit, and we ordered the XXL rib-eye steaks with the accompanying sides. There's absolutely nothing to complain about: the staff was fantastic, the atmosphere was pleasant, the food was superbly prepared, and the dining room was very elegant. I highly recommend this restaurant. And for those of you who love red meat, we've rarely eaten such delicious meat. It was perfectly cooked on a grill that you can watch from your table.

Passing through Rennes, I was pleasantly surprised to discover this grill restaurant. The wood-fired meats are a real highlight of the restaurant's very varied menu. Don't hesitate to stop by! 😊

For a group lunch great menu but a huge disappointment on the spot Aperitif order: OK Main course orders after the aperitif was finished (surprising for lunchtime), the first disappointment: you had to book at least the day before to get the daily special! The restaurant wasn't very full. Some people might still get the daily special. But that's when you realize orders are only taken after the aperitif, so it's too late to go somewhere else for lunch. There's a set menu of starter + main + dessert. But in fact, there's no starter. We ordered the "gourmet" set menu with scallops as a starter, pata negra ham as a main, and chocolate fondant: There were 3 scallops (apparently they were small scallops) - very nice presentation though, the pata negra was excellent but served with fries/green beans/salad - a bit like a school cafeteria plate, disappointing. The dessert was well presented and good. At €34 for the lunch menu, you expect much better (and not fries), especially in the ZI Sud Est industrial zone! The wait was generally long, and the dishes weren't served at the same time. This was my only visit, which is a shame, as the website was promising (I was drawn to the entire "gourmet" menu). Once again, being in the ZI Sud Est zone and not having a daily special is unacceptable. And there were no alternatives. Usually, when there's no daily special, they give you an option like a piece of meat or fish, but they don't suggest choosing something else from the menu, which is reasonably priced for dinner but certainly not for lunch, especially the €25 entrecôte and gourmet coffee option.

We came as a couple on a Friday evening and received a very warm welcome. The service was quick and the servers were attentive to customers. The food was excellent and the portions were very generous. I highly recommend it.
