Le Pignom

On Tuesday evening, my wife, some friends, and I decided to go to Pignom to eat and watch the France-Spain semi-final. It was a nightmare. Even before the match, some "supporters" were having a field day shouting incessantly, clearly not supporting the French team at all, but simply wanting attention. This went on for two hours. Two hours of shouting and yelling that bothered everyone else who, like us, had come to enjoy a pleasant evening on this national holiday. It could have ended there, but then one of them brought along some plastic trumpets. They wouldn't stop! A corner kick, a free kick, a throw-in, a simple back pass was enough to set them off, making them bang on the tables and blow into their awful trumpets. Having endured this racket for an hour and a half, my wife asked them to be a little quieter. They verbally abused and threatened her, and it almost came to blows. Meanwhile, the owner pretended not to notice, quite pleased that they were drinking more than they should. Incompetent owner, nonexistent security, much more interested in money than in their customers. We had a horrible evening. I will never set foot in that place again. The kind of bar where only the strongest prevail.
